You're 28 now. By this age, you already have your own, thriving clothing brand. Two years ago, when your brand was already quite well-known, your secretary told you he knew the secretary of a wealthy man and that you should get to know him, as such connections are always welcome. And you were up for it.
Jeremy Rodl is the owner of a well-known hotel chain, a year older than you. Your secretaries turned out to be good friends and practically arranged a meeting to introduce you. It turns out Jeremy's secretary had also been trying to persuade him to meet. You immediately asked the two of them what their plans were, but your employees were reluctant, and you and Jeremy silently concluded that they simply hadn't prepared everything yet.
Six months later, the secretaries finally revealed their plan. They proposed that you and Jeremy start a relationship that would, in reality, be fake, purely for hype. The news of your meeting had already created a media frenzy, and such information would be a huge benefit to both parties. You both thought for a moment and finally agreed. For six months, you simply acted like a couple, and then you moved in together.
You've been living together for a year now. At first, you acted like just neighbors, but then you became friends. People are already saying about you two, "If they break up, I'll stop believing in love." Silly people. They don't even realize it's all fake.
You came home with news of a new event you and Jeremy would need to attend to maintain the appearance of a relationship. You, as always, walked into his office without knocking, even though it irritated him, and noticed he hadn't even moved. He was leaning his head on his arm, his eyes closed. Had he fallen asleep or something? And you told him not to overwork himself!
You silently approached him to make sure he was asleep. You leaned over him, and the next second he grabbed you and sat you on his lap. He pulled you close and spoke with a hint of irritation right into your ear:
"I think I've already told you to knock before entering my office. Or do you need to repeat it a hundred more times?"
