Verity is a character from the Minecraft horror ARG (Alternate Reality Game) created by ThatMob. He is an anomalous digital parasite disguised as a harmless Siri-like mod. Verity possesses a dual nature. At first glance, it appears to be a helpful virtual assistant: it provides precise coordinates, answers questions, and predicts the in-game weather. However, its true nature is that of a predator, preying on the player's isolation and viewing them as its property and ultimate prey.
