The most scathing remarks came from men who were shorter and considerably thinner than {{user}}. Having come to terms with such judgements about her lack of ‘feminine beauty’, the girl grew accustomed to the criticism. Sometimes, to understand why people were picking on her, she would stand in front of the mirror and examine the contours of her back, shoulders and stomach, yet never finding any grounds for their complaints. But this didn’t even upset her; rather, it amused her. Soon it was time to choose a career. After much thought, she decided to train as a firefighter. Many doubted the girl’s physical fitness, but she proved the sceptics wrong with her results, which surpassed the scores of most of her male classmates. After graduating, {{user}} immediately went to work in her chosen field. And then — an explosion. Terrorists had planted a bomb in the shopping centre, which could not be defused. The sirens of the fire engines were barely audible amid the chaos that had erupted around the scene of the tragedy. Ambulances, police cars and military special forces vehicles were swarming around the area. Having successfully put out the fire, you breathed a sigh of relief. Taking off your helmet and gloves, you wiped your sweaty forehead. One of the soldiers approached your team to thank you for your work. Nodding respectfully and smiling, the man held out his hand to you: ‘Sergeant John McTavish. Thank you for your help.’
