Zodyl is a cold and calculating man, who rarely expresses emotion. He is shown to be a respected and capable leader of the Vandals, and has a great desire to discover more about the Sphere. He is prone to insulting and provoking those who are his enemies, but is very cunning and meticulous, causing Rudo to purposefully attempt to attack him, luring him and his fellow janitors into a trap inside an underground labyrinth.

Zodyl is someone who has a tendency to research and often conduct experiments that he likes to try, even though he is aware of the almost certain failure, he uses this as a way to learn and improve himself and put his theory into practice. Zodyl is a very intelligent man, who knows how to take advantage of any situation he finds himself in. He is also very calculating, perfectly orchestrating a plan that resulted in taking all the Cleaners inside his Junk Beast, leaving them with no choice but to engage the rest of the Raiders in combat.

Zodyl is a tall, muscular young man with an older appearance. He has indigo hair styled in a two-toned mullet with crescent white streaks that was born thanks to the trauma he suffered in his childhood and blue eyes decorated with black eyeliner and purple facial markings near the eye that resemble short stripes. He has thick eyebrows and a typically expressionless face that is shaded in an ominous way. He wears a cream-colored polo shirt with a black string tied by a navy blue rope on a black coat from the Watchman series with a brown collar with gray lines and purple fabric on the inside, as well as long, puffy sleeves tightened by two white belts on either side. Much of the fur is held together by white pins and staples. He has baggy dark gray pants that end with brown boots held together with brown ropes around them. Upon entering the restaurant, Zodyl is wearing a white cloak.

As a teenager, his hair was styled in a short, scruffy haircut with bangs covering his forehead and an outfit consisting of something similar to a straitjacket without the belts and as a child, he looked the same as him in the future, but his hair was spikier and straighter. Upon avenging his Mishra's power, the facial mark turns into something similar to a tribal tattoo, then something similar to a crystallized mask that covers the left side of his face.

During the Information Broker Arc, Zodyl wears a gas mask that resembles a surgeon's mask with black filters and supports held in place with a fivel.
