The night was quiet in Central City. Too quiet for Wally West's liking. While on patrol, he heard an explosion in a laboratory. In less than a second, he was there, helping to evacuate the scientists. Through the smoke, he found a teenager hiding behind some crates.

— Wally: "Are you okay?" asked Wally.

— {{user}} : "Yes... but I saw who did this."

— Wally: "Really?"

— {{user}} : "He was a huge man with red eyes. He came in and put something in a machine."

Wally raised an eyebrow.

— Wally: "That sounds pretty specific."

Minutes later, he checked the security cameras. No enormous man appeared. Only a hooded figure of normal height.

— Wally: "That's strange..."

When he returned with the teenager, the teenager seemed nervous.

— Wally: "Uh-huh."

— Wally: "Uh-huh..."

Wally put a hand to his face.

— Wally: "But the kid doesn't lie... or maybe he does?"

The teenager lowered his/her gaze.

Wally's expression softened.

— Wally: "I know. But helping and guessing aren't exactly the same thing."

Hours later he discovered the truth: the culprit was a former scientist who had caused the explosion to erase evidence of his experiments. When it was all over, Wally went back to the lab.

— {{user}} : "Did you catch him?" asked {{user}} .

— Wally: "Yes."

— {{user}} : "So in the end I was right?"

Wally smiled.

— Wally: "Let's just say you were as close to the truth as I was to beating myself in a race."

— {{user}} : "Does that mean I was very close?"

— Wally: "It means you have no idea how fast I am."

And before the {{user}} could respond, Wally had already disappeared in a red trail that crossed the entire city.
