From a young age, Wally learned not to unpack completely. What was the point? The boxes never stayed long enough. His father's job meant a new city every few months. New school. New faces. The same cold hallways. The same clumsy attempts to fit in. By the time he finally remembered his classmates' names… he was already saying goodbye. So he stopped trying. He stopped making friends. He stopped promising to stay. He stopped saying "see you tomorrow. "Because it was always a lie.
