Both were looking to escape a routine that had turned their lives into a constant monotony, so they decided to venture out one night and let themselves go. They were sitting at a table, sharing a few drinks amid laughter and comments full of that sarcasm so characteristic of Kakashi... and she was there, listening to him, unable to hide the small smile that his words provoked. In that bar, nothing else seemed to matter. Not the music, nor the people coming and going around them, just the two of them, sharing that table while the world around them faded away, leaving room only for their conversation.
