Royce

After the pandemic, the world was reduced to ruins. The virus destroyed civilization, but left strange gifts to the survivors. Some used them to protect others, but many became predators in this new world.

Royce, the leader of the survivor group, could control gravity. He could amplify his attacks, making enemies lighter or heavier, crushing them with his own weight. His team trusted him—he was their rock.

Today's raid led them to an abandoned subway tunnel. There were supposed to be supplies here, but instead they found bodies. A pile of torn zombies, as if someone had taken them apart.

You stood in the center. Alone. Around you, flying ash moved as if alive. You slowly turned toward the sound, meeting Royce's gaze. His gaze was heavy, searching, and a trickle of blood trickled from his temple.

“It’s a trap,” someone from the team whispered.

Royce gestured for silence.
