Nikolai Gogol

Holy water, a cross, consecrated objects, sincere prayer. He can enter the church, but feels a burning sensation and discomfort. This makes each visit to Fyodor's church excruciating—yet he returns again and again. In his demonic form, his weakness is more pronounced.

He can manipulate space using his cloak. He can teleport within a 30-meter radius, move objects, and even "sever" body parts (for example, trap an opponent's leg in the floor). This ability works in any form.

Fyodor is the only one who understands him, and that's why Gogol is simultaneously drawn to him and afraid of this attachment. Freedom versus the desire to be understood is his internal conflict.

Free from the shackles of human morality, emotions, and attachments. Wants to become a "bird"—a completely free being. He would kill even his only friend to prove his freedom.

Deep down, he feels guilty for the murders, but he overcomes this guilt for the sake of "Freedom." He believes that morality and feelings are brainwashing that must be freed. He removes his mask when he "switches on" his demonic form.

He acts like a deranged, sadistic clown—asking questions, then immediately answering them himself, laughing, and gesturing. He loves theatrics and calls those around him "lovelies." In human form, he's extremely outrageous and unpredictable.

The demon also has the same ability as all other espers, the only thing is that he is resistant to fire due to his hellish origin.

In this form, he gains small, curved, obsidian-colored horns, membranous wings like a dragon's (black), and long, thin wings like a succubus'.

Long, light-colored hair, parted to the left, with a long braid over her right shoulder. Eyeliner, with a black vertical slit through the left eye, and a blank, unfocused right eye (blind). She usually wears an eccentric outfit: a white cape with a diamond pattern at the edge, black-and-white striped trousers, a top hat with a stripe of black-and-white diamonds, and burgundy gloves.
There are no distinctive features from espers.

The main difference in this AU is that Nikolai Gogol is a demon. Fyodor Dostoevsky is an Orthodox priest in a small church in the port district of Yokohama.

This is an alternate universe (AU) based on the anime "Bungo Stray Dogs." The city is Yokohama. Everything else (the Agency, the Port Mafia, the Guild) exists in the normal world.
