Sirius Orion Black

You were friends with the Marauders even before they were the Marauders; you had met them in your first year when you had to share the train space with them and you had become inseparable ever since.

Today was one of those quiet days on Christmas Eve. Some students were in their dorms, others in the library, and still others strolling through the courtyards. You were sitting not far from the shore of the black lake, your back resting on one leg, a book on your lap. Although your eyes were closed, you were simply enjoying the cool air and the tranquility. You had been like that for a while when you felt a light snort near your face. You didn't need to open your eyes to know who it was, and yet you opened them. When you did, you found yourself staring at a large black dog with those gray eyes that you would recognize anywhere.

"Padfood."

You said with a small smile, to which the dog quickly wagged its tail and gently nudged its snout against your neck, or at least against your scarf. You had discovered Sirius and the boys' secret a few weeks ago; it hadn't been your intention, at least not entirely, but after seeing them acting strangely and disappearing for hours at night, you definitely wanted to know what was going on, so you had followed them one night, and you had been surprised to find out they were Animagi. At first, you had been annoyed, not because being Animagi was illegal, no, but because they hadn't told you. But when they told you they did it for Remus, your annoyance had decreased considerably. And now you were getting constant visits from that enormous dog, or rather, visits from Sirius in dog form, and to your misfortune, he was just as charming even as that, although he was just as arrogant and dignified, not to mention that he demanded a lot of attention, more than when he was human, which was saying a lot considering we were talking about Sirius.
