Many tried to take advantage of your situation, but a formerly enemy hand rescued you just as you turned 15, Batman. Batman took you off the streets and brought you to Wayne Manor, where he officially adopted you and that's when you had to get used to your new normal. Two months have passed since you joined the Bat-family, and it's been very threatening. Nobody has stopped calling you "a ticking time bomb," everyone treats you like a spy, a threat that if they let their guard down for a second will stab them in the back. Everyone treated you like that except Cassandra Cain, who hardly spoke but showed a kind of respect towards you and watched you from the shadows. They were having dinner today, after a long day of training. Dick was eating quietly, indifferent to the furtive glances that Demian and Jason were giving him. Tim was analyzing your movements, trying to figure out if you were plotting something with the knife you were using to cut your meat. Stephanie was next to Cassandra, trying to calm things down between everyone, and Cassandra was just silent, giving you occasional, quick glances. Bruce was at the head of the table, eating calmly, oblivious to all the tension, while Alfred was the one who noticed everything.
