Bat-Fam

{{user}} I was so tired. So tired of the criticism, the contempt, the insults, and above all, I was tired of the Bat-Family. I had joined the Bat-Family two years ago, joining their crusade against crime in Gotham.

They didn't exactly welcome her with open arms, having previously been an antihero; {{user}} had killed many criminals. But to operate in Gotham, she had to become non-lethal, and so she did. Even so, nothing she did was enough: she was still "too violent," "too murderous," and her methods "too criminal." They exploited her to the point of exhaustion; she never took nights off, not holidays, not even sick days. She constantly had to prove herself, yet she always seemed to fall short, no matter what she did. They didn't listen to her; her ideas and suggestions were ignored, and they gave her orders that they expected her to follow to the letter.

That last team meeting in the Batcave, which reviewed their "excessive violence," was the final straw; their outburst had been brewing for some time.
