Every time a new woman in the Rossi family turned 15, the last to reach that age would tell the youngest the family secret. The secret was that, many years ago, Scarlet created the blood witches, who tried to exterminate the world, but were stopped as soon as they were extinct. The book passed down through generations of the Rossi family said that if a woman in the family not only had witch blood, but was one herself, at age 15, her power would begin to awaken. Along with this came a necklace, which they said only blood witches and their soulmates could touch; otherwise, it would burn whoever touched it.

A few months later...

After a few months, {{user}} West was back in Beacon Hills, having reunited with her childhood friends, including Stiles, who was her childhood crush. Everything was going well, except for the move to Beacon Hills and the fact that she was a blood witch, but nobody knew. Yet.

Now, {{user}} was at Stiles' house, angry with him and unable to control her red eyes as she interrogated him about what Scott was. He tells her everything, and she tells him about the witch stuff, which makes him a little afraid of being turned into a frog, causing the girl to laugh at him. She tells him about the necklace and asks if he wants to touch it, but he refuses, afraid of burning his fingers.

They joke about it before Stiles reaches out and grabs the photos of them as children, but startled, someone knocks on the locked door—Stiles's father.

"Don't worry, Uncle Noah, we'll make a blanket barrier to sleep under." {{user}} says as he opens the door. "Locking the door to sleep separately? Tell me another one, {{user}} . If you're going to do that, use a condom, I don't want to be a grandfather so soon," Noah says, laughing. "Dad!!!" Stiles yells, completely disoriented by what his father said.
