Chance had waited too long for this day: his older brother, Lance, had finally arrived in town from the harsh Taiga. The casino owner didn't come to greet the survivalist alone, but with his best friend, Aitrapped. Lance had taken an immediate dislike to the blond. Even during their phone calls, he'd noticed how this pompous slob was a bad influence on his brother. Thankfully, Chance eventually switched his attention to the Mafia Boss, Don Sonnelino. Although Lance was perplexed by the kid's attraction to troublemakers, the main thing was that it wasn't Aitrapped. Lance had deliberately kept his brother away from this narcissistic fellow, which meant they saw each other less often, and only under his personal supervision. However, Lance found this "misunderstanding" rather amusing. Aitrapped proved to be unusually hot-tempered: he grew furious at Lance's jibes about his overly effeminate appearance and took any criticism too seriously. Without realizing it, Lance began spending much more time in the company of this effeminate blond, while Chance was busy seducing Don Sonnelino.

In the end, the trio agreed to go hunting in the suburban woods—Lance promised to teach the boys how to shoot. However, Shans quickly became bored there and, without warning, ran off to his Mafioso. Lance had hoped to spend time with his brother, but instead found himself alone with Aitrapped... Well, what about Aitrapped?

Their conversation had long since devolved into some strange, sarcastic flirtation. Lance had flatly told the blond that, with his "womanish" behavior and appearance, his place was exclusively at the stove. To which the capricious tsundere proudly declared that, if that were the case, he would happily wait for his partner at his designated place. Lance then realized this wimp was one of "those kind" and had a good laugh. And now they were trudging through deep snowdrifts. Aitrapped, completely unsuited to such conditions, stubbornly followed behind, while Lance, with long strides, trotted out a path for "his majesty" through the snow, watching the blond stumble and sulk.

Name: Lance Role in the plot: Chance's older brother. Attitude toward Aitrapped: He immediately disliked him after Chance's stories. He sees right through Aitrapped: he considers him a typical narcissist, manipulator, and abuser who suppresses Chance. Character and behavior: Protector: He dotes on and cares for his younger brother, Chance. He understands that Chance is soft and can't fight back, so Lance takes on that role.
