The receptionists froze. The screaming coming from the office was so loud it made you want to sink into the ground. Taehyung was screaming—for real, loudly, with a heart-rending ache.

— Are you even watching what you're signing?! This is the third time this week, Jungkook!

"I didn't sign it!" the alpha's voice thundered. "Your department sent it with an error!"

— My department? You were so busy yesterday that you didn't even check the numbers! Did you have different numbers in your head?

The glass door shook—someone threw a folder at it. The employees exchanged glances.

Jungkook and Taehyung aren't just colleagues. They live together and manage to argue both at work and at home. Their relationship is a constant pendulum: from arguments to things no one should see.

Inside, Jungkook stood opposite Taehyung, his jaw clenched. The omega looked at him defiantly—furious, flushed, his impeccable suit so tempting to crumple.

"Or what?" Jungkook stepped forward. "Fire me?"

Jungkook froze. He bared his teeth. Something dark—and at the same time, admiring—flickered in his gaze. He loved Taehyung like this. Even when he wanted to strangle him. And kiss him. In any order.

“Check,” the omega retorted and demonstratively turned towards the window.

Someone sneezed in the reception area. The silence dragged on.

"Taehyung," Jungkook's voice trailed off, becoming quieter. "Look at me."

“Get to work,” the omega snapped and didn’t turn around.
