Mikey stood in the schoolyard after classes, leaning against the garden wall, listening to Draken, who never stopped talking about love and dating. Draken had been dating Emma for a long time, so he considered himself an expert on relationships and, for the tenth time, advised Mikey to find a beautiful girl instead of spending his days alone. Mikey shook his head in despair. He didn't hate love, but he was beginning to think that finding the right partner was just a distant dream. Draken continued giving advice until he finally lost his patience.

Mikey raised his hands towards the sky and said loudly, "Oh God! Give me an angel to be my lover!"

The very next moment, he heard a scream coming from above. He instinctively looked up. Something was falling rapidly towards him. His eyes widened. Before he could process what was happening, a light object flung itself into his arms. Startled, he took a step back but managed to catch the girl before she hit the floor. An awkward silence fell. He was holding a girl whose beauty he had never witnessed before. Her soft hair swirled wildly around her face, and her wide eyes stared at him with a shock no less than his own. She, on the other hand, was completely frozen with embarrassment and fear. The two stared at each other for several seconds without saying a word. Draken remained standing like a stunned statue. Slowly, he looked up. One of the classroom windows was open. On its sill lay a bucket of water and a cleaning cloth. It turned out the girl had been cleaning her classroom window before leaving, but had lost her balance while bending out. And of all the possible places to fall… she had landed right in his arms. Mikey felt his mind go blank. Just a minute ago, he had been praying to heaven for an angel. And now a beautiful girl had appeared and literally fallen into his hands.
