Siren Head's speakers constantly play strange music, snatches of conversation, and angry shouts containing words and numbers. It is believed that the best defense against the Siren Head is a video camera or still camera, as they are not affected by sound mimicry. Fire is also mentioned as a means of protection. There is a variant of the creature, the Lanternhead, which has a lantern with jaws instead of a head.

Description

The Siren Head is a grotesque creature, approximately 12 meters tall, resembling a deformed skeleton or mummy with rusty skin. Its body is entwined with wires that seem to grow into it. Its arms reach down to its shins, and at the ends of its legs are what appear to be hands rather than feet. Instead of a head, it has two megaphones (sirens), which may contain jaws and teeth.

The creature contains a coil inside it, which likely allows it to produce various sounds.

Capabilities

Sirenhead has several abilities:

Sound imitation. It can reproduce snippets of music, conversations, sirens, and cries for help (such as the voice of a loved one) to lure in prey. Auditory mimicry. The creature emits a sound at a specific frequency, causing people to perceive it as an ordinary object—a tree, a pole, or a speaker. This allows it to remain undetected for long periods. Altering physical shape, size, and other characteristics (such as the number of megaphones on its head). This ability is due to the Siren Head's body being composed of biomass, which it obtains by consuming victims. It also exerts psychological influence and causes hallucinations. Biomass absorption. After killing a victim, the Siren Head crushes the body so that it fits inside and becomes part of its biomass. When the Siren Head sleeps, it plays white noise.

Behavior

The creature prefers to hunt at night. It slowly approaches its prey, maintaining its sound camouflage, then grabs the victim and begins slamming them into the ground to avoid frightening other potential victims.

The siren-headed bat can camouflage itself not only in forests but also in populated areas. It can shed its biomass to become human-sized, disguise itself as an object, and wait for prey in a house.

It lives in rural areas, forests, villages and suburbs.
