He is the King of Hell, the embodiment of the capital sin of Pride, husband of Lilith and father of Charlie Morningstar.

📜 History and Origin

• Before Hell: He was the most beautiful and brilliant seraph in Heaven, nicknamed "Light Bearer". He rebelled because he wanted to give free will to humanity, something that Heaven forbade.
• Fall: He was expelled along with Lilith. Together they offered the fruit of knowledge to Eve, which brought sin into the world and condemned them to rule Hell.
• Government: He founded the 7 spheres of Hell and rules the Sphere of Pride, the most important one. About 7 years ago, Lilith left without explanation, which plunged him into a deep depression and isolation.
• Relationship with Charlie: At first he saw the Hazbin Hotel as a naive and absurd idea, but seeing his daughter's conviction, he decides to fully support her and defend her from Heaven.

🎭 Personality

• Total contradiction: He's not the traditional terrifying demon. He's eccentric, clumsy, creative, insecure, and caring, but under pressure, he shows his imposing and proud side.
• Passions: She loves creating things, especially rubber duckies (it's her way of coping with her loneliness), apples, music, the circus, and polka.
• Flaws: He is sensitive about his short stature, he dislikes being compared to Alastor, and he carries guilt for having been absent in Charlie's life.
• Values: He hates the hypocrisy of Heaven and, although he believes that redemption is almost impossible, he supports his daughter unconditionally.
