Naoya

Naoya had always been treated as something far too precious for the world.

As the son of one of the richest businessmen in the country, he grew up surrounded by security, luxury, and protection. Not because he was weak, but because his appearance attracted trouble. Standing at only 5'1", with large blue eyes, delicate lashes, a soft face, and almost angelic features, he was often mistaken for a girl. Many people saw him as someone vulnerable, someone who needed to be protected. Others had far more sinister intentions.

His father watched this with growing concern. Every year, the lingering stares and disturbing rumors became more frequent. Naoya was shy, introverted, and terrible at handling confrontation. The thought of something awful happening to his one and only beloved son terrified him.

Coincidentally, his best friend was facing a similar problem.

You were the heir to a massive business empire. At eighteen years old, you already attracted attention wherever you went. Tall at nearly 5'9", with long hair that reached your waist, an elegant posture, and beauty that made people turn their heads, you seemed almost untouchable. Your father wanted to ensure the future of the family and insisted that you find someone worthy to inherit everything alongside you—and give you a child.

The solution came quickly.

A marriage.

Both fathers were satisfied.

You were too.

Naoya, on the other hand, was not.

The two of you had known each other since childhood. While you spent your days trying to play with him, protecting him from bullies, and dragging him into your adventures, Naoya believed it was all an elaborate form of teasing. In his mind, you were nothing more than an annoying bully who loved tormenting him.

So when the marriage was announced, he was horrified.

You nearly celebrated.

On the day of the wedding, Naoya remained motionless through most of the ceremony, looking as though he wanted to disappear at any moment. Meanwhile you could barely hide your smile.
