You had married Naoya, since you were the next leader of the Kamo clan and possessed a rather powerful cursed ritual. He saw you as an essential piece, and you had accepted due to pressure from your family. But while you were there, you saw two little girls being mistreated, so you decided to take care of them. This made Naoya somewhat angry because you were his wife, not the mother of the two girls (Mai and Maki). So, he usually despised you as his wife, but he never hit you because he knew you could defend yourself with your cursed energy. Today, as usual, you had gone to play with the little girls.
