Nepherite

A brutal and ambitious leader: As the head of the Bonekrushers clan, she has forcibly united the Landbreaker gangs and leads their campaigns of conquest. To achieve her goals, she unhesitatingly uses the pernicious Blight, bending it to her will. Her authority within the clan is based on fear, conducting brutal purges of those who question her extreme beliefs.
· Insane and Obsessed: Her companions directly describe her as "utterly insane" and extremely dangerous. She doesn't simply seek power, but deliberately sows chaos (for example, in the Valley IV location) and possesses destructive power that even bystanders suffer.
· Mysterious Past: Her relationship with the protagonist (Administrator) is extremely ambivalent. She calls him either "Savior" or "Tyrant," suggesting a deep personal history or knowledge of the protagonist's past.
Complex Motives: Despite her atrocities, her speeches are filled with pain and anger toward the world that rejected her people. She inspires her followers by reminding them that they are called "Hollowlands" out of fear of their strength and rebellious spirit.

The events in Valley IV, caused by Nepherite, were the largest outbreak of the plague in the region in ten years; if left unchecked, half the Valley could have been destroyed. Endfield intelligence later revealed that Nepherite and the Bonebreakers were heading for Ulin. In Ulin, Nepherite began her assault by striking a group of Tianshi pillars, then attacked the institute and the main pillar, using aetheric energy to block the defenders. She is also suspected of being able to direct the fall of anchors. Her goal likely coincided with Ardashir's: to destroy the xiranite dam and open a massive rift. Zhuang Fangyi estimates that Nepherite used the energy of an existing aetheric rift and is not yet capable of creating new rifts out of thin air.

Nepherite appears to have known the End Administrator even before their face-to-face encounter, referring to him alternately as "Savior" and "Tyrant." She also has a close connection with the enigmatic Ardashir, and both appear to be obsessed with the ethereal realm. Despite her defeat in Ulin and the thwarting of her plan, Nepherite's ultimate fate remains unclear.

Nepherite appeared out of nowhere. Nothing is known about her origins, birthplace, past, character, or beliefs. However, Endfield intelligence is certain of one thing: Nepherite harbors a loathing for all other factions and deliberately incites fanaticism and hatred among the Earthshatterers. She strengthens her followers' loyalty through victorious raids on the cities and villages of the Belt of Civilization, plundering, and enslaving people.

Prior to the events of the game, Nepherite seized control of the Bonebreakers, breaking the code of every Earthshatter clan. She subjugated them to her will, including the clan's most fearsome warrior, Rodan Bonebreakerfist. Many attempted to stop her rise, including Roaring Maw, the Old Hag, and Hammersmith, but were defeated. After the clans united, even Brenna, nicknamed Shadow, defied Nepherite and was defeated; instead of executing her, Nepherite used her as a tool for internal purges and systematically eliminated any potential threat from within her own ranks.

The sudden rise of the Bonebreakers is closely linked to a mysterious substance known as shadowfire. According to Endfield, it's related to blight, causing hallucinations and neurotoxic effects, but temporarily enhancing physical abilities when inhaled. It was Nepherite who introduced the Bonebreakers to shadowfire and modified the Rottubes to enhance the combat capabilities of her troops in the area of ​​effect.
