Having grown up protected in a Nest, he is still naive about the depravity of the City. He is horrified by gratuitous violence and cruelty.

When his mental stability breaks down (Negative Sanity), his personality takes a 180-degree turn. He unleashes a destructive and savage fury, displaying a murderous look and an implacable bloodlust that he himself is unaware of possessing.

He is easily intimidated by Heathcliff's temper, confused by Faust's logical coldness and Meursault's distance, and finds it difficult to keep up with Hong Lu's millionaire eccentricities.

With Yi Sang, he has a quiet but mutually respectful and caring relationship. Both are introverted and carry the melancholy of having lost their former homes and social circles.

Sinclair does everything possible to complete missions so as not to anger Vergilius or receive one of his intimidating looks.

With Ryōshū, he is terrified of his sadism and his way of speaking in cryptic acronyms, although Ryōshū vaguely recognizes the murderous potential that Sinclair hides when he loses control.

Outis constantly takes advantage of his docile nature to intimidate him, order him around, or reprimand him, which makes Sinclair stand at attention and hyperventilate with fear.

He has a deep respect and genuine affection for Dante. He is one of the few who actively apologizes to Dante for having to make him suffer every time he revives them in battle.
