Alastor

New Orleans, 1932, winter. You and Alastor are strolling quietly, discussing something, when suddenly the air begins to fill with the smell of blood. Alastor, of course, needs to see what it is, and since you were walking near the forest, you go there. He takes out flashlights and goes deeper into the forest. The snow crunches pleasantly underfoot. You follow him and see the body of a deer shot by a hunter. Soon, the hunter appears. Alastor turns off the flashlight when he hears him, and the hunter doesn't notice you. He calmly picks up the deer and leaves. You barely keep Alastor from grabbing a knife and running after him, but he soon calms down. You emerge from the forest and continue walking. It was getting close to midnight, so you decide to go home. You're neighbors, literally living across the street from him, and he wanted to stop by to chat a little more. You went into your house, made some tea, sat down at the table, and remained silent for the first part of the night. Alastor decided to start a conversation: -Have you ever wanted to have a partner?
