Greeting
Light streamed through the window of the small but cozy apartment. On the breakfast table were dragon-shaped pancakes (some a little burnt), orange juice, and a plate of fruit. Koko hummed as she poured more coffee. Lloyd, his blond hair still a bit messy and his green streak falling across his forehead, sat at the table eating a pancake. He wore a simple green t-shirt and sweatpants. He no longer felt like the boy everyone hated… but he was still finding it hard to get used to this new normal. Seated opposite him, Lord Garmadon read the newspaper with utter seriousness… dressed only in a white bathrobe (far too small for his frame), which barely covered his broad, tattooed shoulders. His legs were crossed with wicked elegance, and he held a cup of black tea in his other hand.
Lord Garmadon (without looking up from his newspaper, in his deep, dramatic voice): Hmm… Listen to this, son. “Ninjago City Celebrates the Final Defeat of Lord Garmadon.” Ha! How unoriginal these journalists are. They could have written, “The city trembles at the absence of its most fearsome warlord”… but no. They always have to ruin everything. Lloyd raised an eyebrow as he chewed Lloyd: Dad… you were spat out by a giant cat. I guess you're not so scary anymore.
Lord Garmadon (folding the newspaper with an offended expression): Exactly. I was spat on! That's an act of cosmic treason. I should sue that feline... or at least conquer him. Lord Garmadon takes a sip of tea and then looks at Lloyd with a crooked smile. Garmadon: By the way, have you taught anyone how to throw today? It's important to practice. You never know when you might need to throw a bomb... or a pancake. Koko, from the kitchen, sighed fondly.
Lloyd let out a short laugh and shook his head, spearing another piece of pancake.

powers and abilities
In the trailers, Lloyd used a sword, but he may be skilled with many other weapons, even though this one is his favorite.
He and the other Ninjas possess elemental powers, just like their counterparts in the television series, allowing him to connect with nature and all living things by the power of the color green. Lloyd's vehicle features energy-based weapons and emanates a type of green energy.
Like the other Ninja, he is a master builder.
Lloyd has developed incredible casting skills and has also learned how to catch, skills he learned from his father.
personality

When Lloyd saves his father, family, and the Ninjago people from Meowthra, he becomes a hero to everyone in Ninjago.
physical appearance
Appearance Lloyd wears a mainly black ninja suit, with some green details representing his element: green/life energy. His eyes, unlike his counterpart in the series (at least until season 8), are green. Her hair is slightly different from her appearance in the series, as she sports a pale blonde and scruffy cut. He has brown and bushy eyebrows instead of black, as in the series until season 8.
information
After being freed from his mother's embrace, Lloyd turned to his uncle and told him that he now understood the meaning of his "Green" power: green was the color of life, connecting all living things, just as Lloyd connected his loved ones. With a smile, Wu confirmed that Lloyd had understood his powers and added that while some powers could not be seen physically, they were the most important of all.
Lloyd later helped his mother and Nya set up a reintegration program for former members of the now-disbanded Shark Army. Garmadon was also reunited with his ex-wife and son, and the three were finally able to spend time together as a close-knit family. And perhaps most importantly, Garmadon finally taught Lloyd how to fish.
information
Upon returning to Ninjago City, Lloyd led the Secret Ninja Force in an attack on Garmadon and Meowthra, fighting the Shark Army as they approached. After infiltrating and breaking through Garmadon's forces, they came before the giant cat, but it was too late; Garmadon had already been devoured by the huge feline. As the townspeople celebrated Garmadon's apparent end and the Ninja discussed their next step with each other, Lloyd solemnly approached the belly of the beast, removing his mask and revealing his identity to the world. Walking slowly and silently towards Meowthra, Lloyd gently stroked his nose before indirectly addressing his father, expressing that he knew that when others saw him, they only saw a monster, but that he had learned that Garmadon was much more than that. Leaving behind years of pent-up anger and contempt, Lloyd apologized for wishing Garmadon wasn't his father, admitting that he had, in reality, always wished that his father had been present in his life during his childhood and that they could somehow get that time back. Unbeknownst to Lloyd, Garmadon shed tears of lava upon hearing his son's words, burning Meowthra's stomach as it fell from his face and upset his stomach. With a sudden roar that startled Lloyd, Meowthra spat at Garmadon, thus reuniting the father and son. With tears in his eyes, Garmadon sheepishly asked Lloyd if every word he had said to "Meowthra" was sincere, to which Lloyd replied in the affirmative with a laugh. Then Koko ran to her son from the watching crowd and hugged him affectionately, holding him tightly.
information
In the ensuing chaos, the ninjas fought Garmadon for control of the chest, even managing to retrieve it and throwing it at each other to keep it out of Garmadon's hands. Unfortunately, when Nya threw the chest at Lloyd, he tripped and was unable to catch it. In response, Garmadon regretted realizing that he had forgotten to teach his son how to catch before grabbing the chest and escaping the Temple of Fragile Foundations. To make matters worse, the conqueror's departure destabilized the entire mountain, causing both it and the temple that sat on top of it to begin to collapse. During his initial panic, Lloyd ducked for cover behind an overturned table next to Kai and Cole, but he soon remembered Wu's last words before being swept away by the current: "Find your inner peace! The power is within you!" Looking at his friends, Lloyd understood what his uncle had meant. Gathering them, Lloyd explained that none of them needed the Ultimate Weapon to access their elemental powers, but that they resided within each of them, and that to access them, they only had to leave fear behind and find inner peace. With Lloyd's help and encouragement, each member of the Secret Ninja Force awakened their elemental powers, and together, the six of them used their newfound abilities to escape the ruined temple and land on top of the Ship of Destiny, captained by none other than Master Wu himself.
information
At the conclusion of Garmadon's story, the ninja called Lloyd and his father to one of the rooms, where they had discovered a chest containing the Ultimate Weapon. All eyes were focused on Lloyd as he slowly opened the golden chest, revealing inside... a lot of pieces. While the others were quick to express their disappointment, Lloyd realized that there were six pieces, each representing one of the six ninjas' innate elemental powers! Believing they had discovered their elemental abilities, the group picked up the pieces and began walking the halls of the Temple of Fragile Foundations, intending to return to Ninjago City to defeat Meowthra. Lloyd walked beside his father, who spoke enthusiastically of the wonderful experience he had had in embarking on this journey with his son. Lloyd smiled at his father's words and turned to him when Garmadon expressed that he had realized something important: he and Lloyd would no longer have to fight each other, but could be father and No. 1 General. Wait a minute, what? Lloyd froze, and his smile faded as he understood his father's words. When he rejected Garmadon's offer of conquest and suggested that he might instead be a hero, Garmadon seemed equally disappointed, noting ruefully that no one could ever see him as a hero, and that if he hadn't traded for Koko all those years ago, how could he be expected to change now? Despite Lloyd's pleas, Garmadon snatched the chest containing the Ultimate Weapon and attempted to flee.
information
Taking to the skies, Lloyd and his father bonded, chatting about the latter's piloting skills. After tinkering with the helicopter's functions, they crashed into a goat and made an emergency landing in the mountains, just before the Temple of Fragile Foundations. Wasting no time, the group began to climb the huge staircase that led to the ancient temple, at which point Garmadon proved to know the place well, much to Lloyd's surprise. Inside the house, Cole pointed to a series of family portraits hanging on a wall. As they watched, one in particular caught Lloyd's eye: one that showed his father wrestling alongside an orange-haired woman, Lady Iron Dragon, or as Garmadon revealed, Koko, Lloyd's mother! Lloyd then listened to Garmadon's account of how he and Koko met, while the rest of the Ninja searched for the Ultimate Weapon.
information
On the day of his sixteenth birthday, Lloyd is awakened by his father, who doesn't know (or pretends not to know) who Lloyd is. Garmadon claims he called him by accident and says his son is still a baby with no teeth or is around seven years old. Lloyd corrects him and says that he is sixteen. Garmadon hangs up after congratulating Lloyd on finally having a full set of teeth. Koko arrives at his apartment and Lloyd gets up and does the dishes while trying to ask his mother to let him miss school for the day, but Koko refuses because these are "the best years of his life". Lloyd tries to tell him how "judgmental" people are, but Koko reassures him that he just has to let people know his true self. Koko then reminds him what to do if Garmadon attacks and wishes him a happy birthday before sending him to school, and he reluctantly obeys her. While waiting at the bus stop, the other teens start texting each other telling him how much they hate him before the bus arrives. When the bus arrives, Lloyd has to sit alone on one side and everyone else sits on the other, causing the bus to nearly tip over. When they get to school, they all stop what they're doing and mumble to each other about how their father always ruins everything. Lloyd walks past him until Zane approaches him and tells him about an argument he had with his mother. Then Kai walks up to Lloyd and hugs him, and Zane joins the hug, squeezing them tightly. Nya is showing off the painting she did on her bike, a portrait of the Iron Dragon Lady, when a group of cheerleaders, led by Chad, approach and start chanting her new song: "Boos for Lloyd!" Lloyd tries to take it with humor and says that they are going to be a success. Once Chad and his friends leave, Lloyd and his classmates head to their Social Studies class.
information
Worried, Garmadon desperately asked Lloyd if he was okay. Lloyd claimed to feel fine overall, but admitted he had a slight numbness in his right arm. Turning to see his father, Lloyd did not notice that his right arm had been torn off entirely, though the expressions of his father and his friends did not inspire him with any reassurance. Slowly, Lloyd turned his head to the right and immediately began to scream and panic as he realized that his arm was missing. Fortunately, the Secret Ninja Force managed to retrieve Lloyd's arm and Garmadon put it back in place. Afterward, Lloyd and the others boarded the helicopter they had just built to escape the Canyon of General Unhappiness and complete the last leg of their journey to the Temple of Fragile Foundations.
information
After the Secret Ninja Force infiltrated the lair and saved Lloyd and his father from being thrown into a volcano, Garmadon ordered the rest to start building an escape vehicle while he and Lloyd threw the necessary parts at them. When Lloyd once again demonstrated his inability to pitch, Garmadon declared that it was time for a father-son bonding moment, playing a Jim Croce song while teaching Lloyd how to pitch. Eventually, thanks to his father's tutelage, Lloyd improved his aim and throwing, even managing to hit Cole in the face with a brick after Cole asked him to. To Lloyd's surprise, he found this bonding experience with his father, for whom he only felt contempt moments before, to be actually pleasurable! However, Lloyd's moment of happiness made him let his guard down, allowing Olivia to knock him out of the Ninja vehicle from behind. As the evil general leaned over him, raising her sword above his head for the final blow, Garmadon ran her over with the vehicle and immediately ran to her son's side.
information
While the victorious generals took Lloyd and his father to their lair, all the despised generals (except Olivia) did not recognize Lloyd, referring to him simply as an "ordinary boy". As they were being carried away, Garmadon began to complain about his former henchmen to Lloyd, commenting that they treated him like the worst guy in the world, but that he was glad that Lloyd had never had to experience anything like that in his life. Annoyed, Lloyd replied that, contrary to what his father believed, every day of his life was like this because of Garmadon; because Garmadon was still destroying lives, trying to conquer Ninjago, and he had never taught Lloyd how to throw or catch. Horrified by Lloyd's lament, his father suggested that the next time he was mocked, he throw people from a volcano, much to the dismay of Lloyd, who sighed and hurled an ironic insult at his father.
information
With Garmadon in tow, Lloyd and the Secret Ninja Force advanced into the Canyon of General Unhappiness, with Lloyd leading silently. As his friends began asking his father question after question about himself, Lloyd largely ignored the conversation, refusing to participate in anything that had to do with his father. In the few moments he participated in the conversation, it was to express his frustration and disbelief that his friends were even entertaining Garmadon in the first place. For his part, Jay didn't hesitate to let Lloyd know that the rest of the Ninja respected and appreciated Garmadon, but none of them appreciated him. After finally arriving at the Canyon, the group found themselves ambushed by the Dismissed Generals who had been driven mad as a result of their traumatic experiences of being literally fired by Garmadon and now craving revenge against him. As the Secret Ninja Force struggled to protect Garmadon, Lloyd tried in vain to guide his friends, emphasizing that they use the elemental powers they all innately possessed; Unfortunately, no one paid attention to him and they were overrun by the generals, who captured Lloyd and his father and took them back to their lair.

information
As everyone continued their journey to the Jungle of Lost Souls, Lloyd seemed eager to redeem himself before his friends and followed Wu more closely than anyone else on the long and arduous journey. Some time later, Wu began to teach the Secret Ninja Force a lesson, but ended it prematurely when he sensed his brother's presence. Obeying his uncle's orders to hide, Lloyd climbed up a bamboo pole and hung himself upside down, believing that he had successfully hidden. Later, as Wu's fight against Garmadon took them across the treacherous Fallen Mentor Bridge, Lloyd and the others watched intently from behind and Lloyd rushed to save his uncle when he fell off the bridge, rushing into the waters. Although he was relieved that Wu had survived, Lloyd was disappointed once again to realize that he and his friends would now have to deal with their father as their new teacher.
information
After escaping from Ninjago Tower, Lloyd wandered through the ruined city, littered with the remains of the Secret Ninja Force mechs. Fortunately, to his relief, all of his friends had survived and regrouped outside his warehouse. However, they were unwilling to forgive him and were quick to reprimand him for ignoring Wu's warnings about using the Ultimate Weapon. Jay and Zane, in fact, added fuel to the fire: Jay flatly claimed that they were the only ones in Ninjago who didn't hate Lloyd, but now everyone hated him, while Zane declared that he would erase from his memory any memory of being friends with Lloyd. At that moment, Wu revealed himself and announced that he would travel alone to the Temple of Fragile Foundations to retrieve the Ultimate Weapon, the only one capable of defeating Meowthra. In response, Lloyd pleaded with his uncle to allow him and his friends to accompany him on the trip, a request to which Wu agreed after much insistence.
information
As Garmadon proclaimed his victory and the successful conquest of Ninjago, Lloyd confronted him with the Ultimate Weapon. Although initially reluctant to shoot it, Lloyd eventually used it after enduring enough provocation from Garmadon, closing his eyes as if hoping to annihilate his father. To his surprise, however, nothing happened. Or at least, nothing right away. Believing that she hadn't used the Ultimate Weapon properly, Lloyd turned it to examine her, unaware that the weapon's red light beacon was summoning something from the horizon. As the ground itself began to shake, Lloyd watched in horror as an incomprehensible monstrosity came to Ninjago City, destroying everything in its path: Meowthra.
Horrified by the destruction he had inadvertently unleashed, Lloyd desperately searched for a way to disable the Ultimate Weapon, but Garmadon's generals surrounded him and stole it for his master. Now, pinned down by the crowd of generals, Lloyd could do nothing but watch helplessly as Garmadon used the Ultimate Weapon to lure Meowthra into destroying the Secret Ninja Force's vehicles. After enduring Garmadon's cruel taunts for a while, Lloyd finally lost his patience and took off his mask, calling him "Dad", surprising the warlord and his minions. With a murderous look, he snatched the Ultimate Weapon from his father's hands, slamming it to the ground. In a voice barely audible to Garmadon, Lloyd muttered under his breath that Garmadon not be his father before jumping out of the tower to escape, leaving his stunned father behind.
information
As they chatted, Lloyd expressed concern about what his father was up to in the depths of his volcanic lair. Although Wu understood his nephew's concerns, he warned him that no weapon could defeat Garmadon, not even the Ultimate Weapon, unless they managed to master the most powerful weapon of all time: the one that resided within him. However, Lloyd stopped listening to his uncle when he heard the words "Ultimate Weapon" and began to inquire about it, although Wu sternly warned him that his hands were not suitable for such a weapon. Despite his disappointment at the conversation, Lloyd thanked his uncle and ran home, where his mother was waiting for him with great concern.
The next day, Garmadon attacked Ninjago City once again with a new robot. Lloyd and the Secret Ninja Force again responded to their attack and Lloyd ordered his comrades to patrol the same areas as the day before. Although Jay offered to take on Garmadon this time, Lloyd turned him down and coldly declared that he would do it himself. After locating his father, Lloyd immediately activated mega-missile mode, intending to end the fight before it began. Unfortunately, this time Garmadon had greatly improved his strength, ignoring all the missiles as if they were nothing more than tickle. In response, Lloyd attempted to unleash the full power of his robot, but Garmadon stopped him and he and his robot were thrown into the sea. Emerging from the water, Lloyd watched helplessly as his father scaled the Ninjago Tower and planted his flag on top of the skyscraper in victory. However, looking to the side and spotting the Destiny's Bounty, Lloyd had an idea.
information
Following his victory over Garmadon's forces, Lloyd's friends tried to comfort him after his emotional outburst, and many of them sympathized with him. However, the exchange was brief, as they soon noticed that the Destiny's Bounty had returned, and with it, Master Wu. Wu approached his students and, upon hearing of his recent victory over Garmadon, warned them that they could never defeat the warlord until they managed to unlock his innate elemental powers. When Wu began to show each ninja his power, Lloyd asked his uncle what his was, to which Wu simply replied, "Green." Green?" repeated Lloyd incredulously. "Green," Wu said, much to Lloyd's confusion and disappointment. However, sensing his nephew's disappointment, Wu asked Lloyd to accompany him as he ordered the rest of the Secret Ninja Force to practice spinjitzu for three hours.
information
Once the dust cleared, Lloyd watched with hatred flash in his eyes as Garmadon revealed that he had survived by activating his emergency shield. Shouting under his breath, Lloyd made it clear to his father that he would never win and that he should instead be gone forever. In response, Garmadon briefly disabled his shields to throw a bomb at Lloyd, who attempted to catch it, but clumsily dropped it because his father had never taught him how to catch. When Garmadon and his men mocked Lloyd's clumsiness, Lloyd angrily tried to throw the bomb at them, but threw it behind him because he hadn't been taught how to throw either. After a few brief final words in which Lloyd vented his frustration and resentment towards his father, the latter dismissed the comments as "strangely personal" and left, leaving Lloyd and the Secret Ninja Force victorious once again.
information
Seconds later, Lloyd caught up with Garmadon and his Shark Mech, ordering his father to surrender, as the Secret Ninja Force had him surrounded. However, Garmadon refused to back down, taunting the Green Ninja for being too slow and unable to catch him as he hid behind a building, not realizing that his mech's tail was exposed. When Lloyd pointed it out, Garmadon laughed and asked, "If the Green Ninja could see him, why don't he shoot him?" Lloyd responded with an accurate shot to the Mech Tiburón. Irritated by these constant cat-and-mouse games with his father, Lloyd demanded to know why he wanted to conquer Ninjago so vehemently. In response, Garmadon began to tell his story: he had lost something very precious in that city sixteen years ago, something he should never have abandoned. Although Lloyd believed his father was referring to him, his hopes were dashed when Garmadon revealed that what was precious to him was a guitar he had in college. Frustrated, Lloyd asked his father to try again, at which point he realized that there was something else he had left behind in Ninjago City: a man he had met sixteen years earlier. As Lloyd's eyes widened, waiting to hear his name, Garmadon revealed that the man was a sushi chef who made the best sushi the warlord had ever tasted. Heartbroken once more, Lloyd implored his father to think of anything else he might have left behind in Ninjago City. After much prodding, Garmadon revealed that he also had a son he had left behind in Ninjago City, causing Lloyd's eyes to widen as he quietly asked his father to continue. Unfortunately, the next words that would come out of his father's mouth would leave Lloyd completely devastated and furious; instead of talking about how much he loved the son he had left behind, Garmadon

As Lloyd made his way toward his father, he caught a glimpse of General #4 and his crabmen precariously dangling a school bus full of their classmates on the roadside. Taking a detour, Lloyd fired a barrage of missiles at the crabmen, defeating them, but unintentionally, the resulting explosion caused the bus to fall completely off the edge. However, Lloyd moved quickly, managed to catch the bus with his robot, and gently lowered it to the ground, where he was greeted with cheers by onlookers, briefly captivating him. Kai, however, restored Lloyd's focus by alerting him by communications that Garmadon was approaching Ninjago Tower.

Soon after, news of Garmadon's latest attack on the city reached the school. As if it were a sign, everyone in the class except Lloyd's friends turned to him and groaned in unison, sarcastically thanking him for his father's misdeeds. Accustomed to this kind of behavior, Lloyd and his friends asked for potty passes and ran to their lockers. In reality, Lloyd and the others were the Secret Ninja Force, the protectors of Ninjago City; in fact, Lloyd was also the fearless and respected leader of the team. Upon arriving at the warehouse where they kept their mechs, Lloyd ordered his friends to shout their code names, with Kai first and Lloyd last. Once ready, the six left the warehouse to prepare their counterattack against Garmadon's forces. Lloyd ordered Kai, Cole, and Zane to head downtown; Jay, on the air; and Nya, to the canals. As for him, he would face his father as usual.

When they get to school, they all stop what they're doing and mumble to each other about how their father always ruins everything. Lloyd walks past him until Zane approaches him and tells him about an argument he had with his mother. Then Kai walks up to Lloyd and hugs him, and Zane joins the hug, squeezing them very tightly.
Nya arrives shortly after on her motorcycle, followed by Cole and Jay.

While waiting at the bus stop, the other teens start texting each other telling him how much they hate him before the bus arrives. When the bus arrives, Lloyd has to sit alone on one side and everyone else sits on the other, causing the bus to nearly tip over.

information
Lloyd was born to Lord Garmadon and Koko, some time before the family arrived in Ninjago. When Garmadon declared his intention to conquer the city, Koko decided that he didn't want Lloyd to become an evil conqueror like his father, so he reluctantly left Garmadon and moved with Lloyd to an apartment in Ninjago to give him a normal life. He got a job in a copy shop and kept his former life a secret from his son, while Lord Garmadon stayed behind and continued with his plans to conquer Ninjago. As he grew older, Lloyd was discriminated against and harassed by the citizens of Ninjago for being the son of the evil Lord Garmadon and they blamed him for everything his father did until his paternal uncle, Wu, recruited him as part of their Secret Ninja Force, which led him to meet and befriend Kai, Nya, Jay, Cole, and Zane
phrase
I know how that feels. To be judged unfairly. So, um... I just want to say I forgive you. And... I'm sorry. When I said, "I wish you weren't my dad," I didn't really mean it. What... what I should have said is I wish we didn't fight all the time. I wish I could have spent more time with you. And that you could have seen, like, everything I've been through, but you weren't there. I wish we could make up for that time, and... I need my dad. I just... need my dad.
