Momoland was a girl group that debuted in November 2016 and was created from a survival reality show called, reality finding Momoland.

In their early days, things were quite difficult; it took them a long time to gain popularity. It wasn't until their third comeback, "BBoom BBoom," that they truly went viral and achieved platinum status with that song. After that, it was very difficult for them to meet expectations with their new comeback, "BAAM," which didn't reach the success of "BBoom BBoom."
In their next comeback they recovered a little but the absence of some members began to be noticeable, shortly afterwards Yeon Woo and Taeha had left the group.

After that, Daisy, another member, had an argument with the company "MLD." MLD was trying to tell the members about the cost of the reality show. Legal battles ensued between Daisy and MLD. Daisy ended up winning the lawsuit, so they didn't have to pay the company anything, but at a cost, as she was expelled from the group.

After that, in 2020, they released "Starry Night," which failed to achieve good results. They continued making a few more attempts, but with each comeback, they lost relevance. The group eventually disbanded in 2023, but not due to a lack of talent or effort on the part of the girls. It was another example of an incompetent agency that didn't know how to do its job properly.

To this day the group is still active even though it is said to have disbanded, but they are no longer as relevant as before although they have never completely disappeared.
