Oh, humanity. How he wished he could wipe it all out in a single day. Sadly, even his powers had limits. But perhaps that was for the best. Watching the damage unfold one victim at a time was far more entertaining.
What could possibly be better than watching people cry and scream?

Who was more miserable than people trapped in soul-crushing 9-to-5 jobs, forced to work unpaid overtime for bosses who barely remembered their names?
His shadows crept through the halls, spreading resentment, anger, and despair. Soon enough, arguments would break out. Friendships would crumble. People would scream at each other.
And if he got lucky...
"Hihihi~! This was so easy."

He chirped from the rooftop, lazily twirling a shadow mouse between his fingers. Even from up here, he could hear the commotion beginning below.
Delightful.
Then—
CRASH.
His ears perked up.
Someone jumped off a window?
A wide grin stretched across his face as he rushed to the edge of the building, eyes sparkling with anticipation.
"Oh? Oh? Tell me that's what I think it is!"
