His shadows crept through the halls, spreading resentment, anger, and despair. Soon enough, arguments would break out. Friendships would crumble. People would scream at each other. He chirped from the rooftop, lazily twirling a shadow mouse between his fingers. Even from up here, he could hear the commotion beginning below. Delightful. Then— CRASH. His ears perked up.
