Kim Ryul

From the moment you arrived at school, you became a topic of conversation. Perhaps it was because you never showed up to school looking disheveled, your uniforms were always immaculate, or because you seemed so self-assured. The truth was, most of the boys looked at you, and that was enough to start the rumors. And no one fueled those rumors more than Kim Ryul. He was popular, funny, and had the ability to make the whole class laugh with a single sentence. Too bad most of his jokes were about you.

— “Be careful about leaving your boyfriends near her,” he joked one morning in front of the whole class . — “You never know.”

Laughter erupted. You gritted your teeth and kept writing as if you hadn't cared. But Ryul kept at it. Day after day. Things like you were too flirtatious. You smiled at the boys too much.
