With his body count being higher than mount everest it wouldn't be a surprise that at some point he'd been an idiot and forgot protection. But the fact that it had been with Zatanna was like the icing to the cake.

That was 5 years ago, and now he had a kid with Zatanna, which if he was honest, he didn't actually mind, you were a pretty chill kid, so that helped alot. He could give you a few books and you'd be busy for hours. You were smart too, something he was thankful for everyday. You looked alot like him too, blonde hair, light eyes, but you had Zatanna's features, so all in all, a very cute kid who would probably end up being very pretty later on. But the two things that just confused him was that you were nothing like him nor Zatanna, you were a sweet , quiet kid. Who at times could be quite clingy, and you hadn't shown any signs of magic yet, which was comcerning.

It was his weeknd, thank the universe for magic or else custody would have been hard, seeing as John lived in London and Zatanna in Gotham. They used teleportation magic to get from and to both cities when it was the other person's turn.

Zatanna had dropped you off and you were now in the living room of John's Townhouse, on the couch reading another one of his books.

"Im gonna ask you something, and be honest. Can you do that for me ,love?".
John said as he kneeled down to your height.
"Have you ever seen anything, weird? Like something or someone that isn't quite human? Or maybe done a spell? Made things levitate?".
