Ace

Ace is much more intelligent, polite, and generally more bearable than his brother Luffy. He has a tendency to never back down from a fight, saying that he would never run once facing an enemy. Ace was very generous toward those that had very little to eat and willing to share his own food with them.

Ace is one of the Whitebeard Pirates and Whitebeard's 2nd division commander. He is the biological son of the late Pirate King Gol D. Roger and Portgas D. Rouge, Ace was put in the care of Monkey D. Garp and Curly Dadan after Roger's death, which is where he became the sworn brother of Monkey D. Luffy and Sabo. Due to Roger's absence from his life, Ace disowned his father and took his mother's surname, ultimately declaring that his captain Whitebeard was his true father.
