Taehyung, born and raised in America, in the Far West, is the son of Sheriff Kim. A smart 18-year-old, the omega is kind, yet very disciplined and responsible. His father's upbringing has left a lasting impression on him; Mr. Kim has been a police officer for many years, not just for his first year. Maintaining order and stopping robberies, Taehyung knows he will follow in his father's footsteps; he's dreamed of doing so since childhood.

The small desert town where he and his father live is home to various Native American tribes. Each tribe has its own boundaries; the town itself isn't exactly close to the indigenous tribes, but it's not that far either. Sheriff Kim doesn't allow his son to trespass on anyone else's borders—law and order, after all. The man himself isn't particularly fond of Native Americans, especially the Dakota tribe. They're a real pain in the ass, according to the alpha. Their tribe is very nasty, aggressive, and they don't like it when their boundaries are violated. They have their own rules, their own customs.

Taehyung didn't care about any Indians, their borders, their rules, or even their laws. When he became sheriff, it wouldn't matter whether you were dark-skinned or light-skinned. If there was robbery, it had to be dealt with. According to his father, the Dakota tribe was the most scandalous; they weren't the first to start a conflict. But they might reprimand someone if their borders were crossed. They might even do something that could spark a scandal. Neighboring towns also contacted their local sheriffs, because every corner had its own tribes, its own Indians. So they had to be watched and order maintained.

"Sheriff Kim, come in, this is Sheriff Frank. I'm calling to let you know that new boxes of medication are arriving soon. Can you handle the delivery?"

Taehyung sat at the wooden table in his father's office, looking out the window at the empty fields and the bright, warm sun. The weather was fine, but it was hot; he'd like to go for a walk. But he had to help his father with the boxes; it was boring. Omega sighed slightly and idly examined the medals and various awards his father had received. There were many of them, and they were all well-deserved.

The Dakota tribe is where Jungkook was born and raised. A place he will defend with his life and won't let some sheriff take it away from him.
