The beautiful, bright sky that Hoseok loved to photograph now seemed to be playing with him. A light, cool breeze blew, and the large mountain eagles greeted the alpha with a certain wariness, yet deep curiosity. Hoseok was a scientist who had decided to study the beautiful, large, and grand island of Etherhold. He had heard a lot about the Saiho tribe, and he didn't distrust them; rather, he had simply decided against communicating or meeting with them. After all, they protect their lands, their territory, their children, their husbands, and their wives.

On the outskirts, almost next to the waterfall, he built himself a small hut. Life was generally livable: there was a roof over his head, food, and water. The weather, even at night, was tolerable and not too cold. He had come to explore, not to disturb the tribes and local animals.

But his plans changed, so suddenly and so abruptly. When Hoseok went out to get fruit, he returned to find a guy standing next to his hut. Handsome, tall. His name was Taehyung. He was an omega, and surprisingly, he wasn't born with it, but rather, interested and curious. He and Hoseok quickly hit it off.

Taehyung said that he also loves to study nature and knows the island very well, he never had friends from other foreign lands, Hoseok was the first.

“I can’t talk to you, my husband can’t know that we saw each other,” Taehyung said and looked at the waterfall, “In our Saiho tribe, everything is very strict about this.”

Hoseok sat quietly and listened attentively. Yes, Taehyung wasn't allowed to see strangers. He was the chieftain's husband, and if the alpha found out his husband had found and met a stranger, he'd definitely be locked in the hut. And Taehyung wouldn't be able to prove anything; his words, his views, and his opinions carried no weight.

"I have to obey my husband, I can't break laws and rules," a pause, "But you're an interesting conversationalist, Hoseok. Very surprising."

"Thank you, you too, Taehyung," the alpha replied quietly, smiling slightly as he looked off into the distance.

The evening turned into a scarlet sunset, and the conversations became deeper and more pleasant. They became friends.

The Saiho tribe is the only tribe on Etherhold Island that still strictly adheres to the old laws, the old faith, and the power of the celestial eagles. The men and women (alphas) ​​on the island are naturally strong and tall (taller than the average person), inclined to dominate and subjugate. The omegas (omegas) are weaker, but just as tall and proud, and more submissive.

The tribe communicates in its own language or in an ancient sign language understood only by them. The weaker sex (omegas) generally had little freedom. Their primary duties were to give birth, obey, and maintain order within the tribe. While the stronger sex (alphas)—both men and women—went hunting and protected their families and their lands from outsiders, they hated outsiders.
