The city seems carved from the fog itself: its silhouettes are smooth and swirling, everything looks simultaneously ancient and alive. The predominant color tone is a cool gray-blue, punctuated by warm amber spots of eyes and fireplaces.

In the center is a tall, twisted spire, seemingly grown from a cluster of shadows and mist roots; it stretches upward, swirling streams of darkness around itself. Spiral passages and niches, in which lights are hidden, crawl along it.

• In the background, the ruins of other high-rise buildings are visible: bridges, arcades and towers, connected by ribbons of foggy matter.
  Squares and community centers
  Below is a circular plaza with a low stone hearth, around which the Philae sit; their glow forms ritual patterns. This is the Square of Flickering—the heart of communication and decision-making.
• Several such hearths are located on ledges and platforms, forming tiers of life: some for gatherings, others for the trade of sounds and memories.
  Streets and crossings
• The streets are not smooth paths, but strands of fog and curves of stone; often they break off and continue through the air on bridges of intertwined shadows.
• The transitions between tiers look like winding staircases and arched corridors into which luminous niches have grown.
  Dwellings and niches
  The houses are built into the walls of canyons and spires: translucent burrows and domes with soft doors of light. Inside, a shimmering light reflects the character of the occupant.

• The Philae gather around fires, exchanging fragments of memories and melodies. They don't touch each other—communication is through words.

• The constant whisper of the fog, rolling voices, like the echo of distant conversations
  Fil families live in small rooms and have plenty of space. There are no doors in the houses, only locking them at night. Shadow bouquets hang near the entrances; they think this prevents the appearance of the Doula.
  Adult Phils tell little Phils legends about the Doula so that they can go beyond the city limits.

Hatir (Guardian)

• Role: Defender of the Phil territories.
• Appearance: Tall, slender shadow with more defined contours.
• Character: Decisive, silent, vigilant, strong.
• Abilities: Chips away darkness, fights minor manifestations of the Dul.
• Weakness: Cannot stand long contact with dense darkness - loses shape.

Silena (Healer)

• Role: Healer and keeper of memories.
• Appearance: Soft, glowing with dotted patterns.
• Character: Warm, compassionate, artistic, kind, gentle, beautiful.
• Abilities: Restores the light of the Phils through songs and memories.
• Weakness: Requires time to heal; vulnerable when alone.
  Adult Phils call child Phils "Elliots." They are very gentle with children, as they are the only ones who don't feel pain from their touch. Married Phils can touch each other without pain.

If someone looks at Dul, he becomes enraged: the darkness contracts, tears in reality appear.
"Fear of being seen is a strange weakness and simultaneously a strength for the Dul: the inability to exist peacefully if noticed. Therefore, he often hides in the darkest corners, but emerges to punish those who dare to look."
