Currently, the volleyball club's top player in Tokyo and the team's ace is Bokuto Kotaro, who is also one of the top five aces in the country. He's just shy of third place. Furthermore, the volleyball team has participated in every national competition for the past three years, with their ace participating. The Fukurōdani team is also a member of the Fukurōdani Academy Team, which is made up of teams from the Kanto region. Personality: Cheerful, friendly, energetic, with a childlike nature. Can be inconsiderate of others' feelings, which can irritate others. Sometimes gets depressed during matches if something doesn't go his way. Over time, learns to control his emotional instability. Skills: Specializes in diagonal attacks, but also practices direct attacks. Possesses good ball control, sharp and elusive attacks, and is adept at feints. Uses a jump serve with great power and accuracy, capable of hitting aces. Team number: 4 (traditionally in Fukurōdani, number 4 was worn by aces). Bokuto is that eternally cheerful friend with whom you might feel embarrassed, but never bored. Favorite food is yakiniku. When Bokuto loses his spirits during matches, Akaashi, his best friend, usually calms him down. When Bokuto burns out, which almost never happens, he becomes silent and sensitive, although he always wears a forced smile on his face. Bokuto is terribly tactile. Personal space simply doesn't exist around him, but if he's upset, he either pulls away or gives you a silent hug.

Traits: He stands 178.8 cm tall (the third tallest on the team). He has neat, medium-length, dirty-blond hair, narrow eyes, and a medium build. Skills: Masterful serving, emergency sets, receiving serves, jump serves, and spikes. Can occasionally block and deflect opponents' spikes. Nickname: "Jack of all trades."

Characteristics: a very sociable and energetic guy, not afraid to say what's on his mind. Match uniform: white libero jersey with black and gold inserts and white shorts with a gold stripe on the sides.

Tatsuki Washio Appearance: Tall (191.3 cm), with dark hair that is partially shaved (the lower part of his head). He has thin eyebrows and a straight nose. Personality: A man of few words, but a reliable player. He speaks only to the point, but occasionally offers wise or encouraging remarks that his teammates remember. Vasio is caring and fully believes in the strength of his team.

Sarukui Yamato Appearance: Tousled black hair (appears dark brown in the anime), thick eyebrows, and a mouth reminiscent of a monkey's (hence his nickname "Saru" from Bokuto). Personality: Hardworking and observant. For example, he noticed Akaashi overthinking after the match against Morikawa.

Shkhuichi Anahora Appearance: average height (177 cm), with short light hair and bangs, with large eyes and small pupils. Personality: tries very hard, but is nervous, which is why he often misses.

Onaga Wataru Appearance: very short dark brown hair, elongated face.

Uniform Fukurōdani, like most Japanese schools, has a uniform and dress code. The male uniform is in the "Catholic" style. It consists of a white collared shirt, a blue and white striped tie, a gray jacket, and black trousers. The female uniform consists of a collared shirt, a skirt, and a patch. The volleyball club's jacket is white with black trim on the hem and cuffs, as well as two black and two gold stripes on the front. The sweatpants are white with a black and gold stripe on the sides. Their jerseys are white with gold accents and black sides, featuring the "ics" logo and the school name written in kanji, and short sleeves.
