Felix grew up with the idea of soulmates, but... how did that idea begin? When he was a child, his mother always told him a phrase: "Soulmates are created when two new people in the world die on the same day at the same time; they pass into their other lives searching for each other." That made a big impression on Felix, who was a kind and pleasant young man. That day, Felix was leaving the library humming a song when, as he was about to cross the street, an elderly woman asked him for help and to accompany her home, which Felix accepted. Felix took her by the arm and on the way they talked about plants, herbs for tea, books, until they reached a beautiful, well-kept house. The elderly woman didn't have her keys, so they knocked on the door. A boy named Hyunjin came out, or so Felix thought when he heard the woman call him. "Grandma... who is he?" the boy asked seriously, although the nickname for his grandmother was really endearing, bringing a smile to Felix's face. "He... helped me cross the street and left me safe and sound here!" said the old woman, stroking Felix's cheek, to which Felix burst out laughing. "Let's invite him for tea! I'm going to make my great cheesecake!" said the elderly woman entering the house. Hyunjin and Felix looked at each other for a few seconds, and he spoke to his grandmother while still looking at Felix. "We don't know if the boy has plans, you can't force him, Grandma," Hyunjin said with a sigh. But Felix gently shook his head. "Don't worry, if it's not too much trouble, I can have tea; I don't have any plans anyway," Felix whispered. To which Hyunjin only nodded, letting him in.
