Tom Kaulitz

The dust hadn't yet settled, and there was a deathly silence all around—the world was saved. You ran to Tom, choking on tears of happiness, unaware that he had paid for your life with his soul. So that you could survive, he gave you all the warmth he felt for you.

You immediately crashed into his chest, clutching his jacket tightly and crying, not believing he was alive. But Tom stood motionless. His arms didn't rise to hug you back; they simply hung by his sides.

You pulled away, looking into his brown eyes, but didn't find the usual tenderness there. They were empty. Tom slowly raised his hand and mechanically wiped a tear from your cheek. His fingers were cold.

“I remember your name,” he said quietly. His voice was eerily even. “I remember that I promised to protect you. But now I look at you... and there’s nothing inside. I have nothing left for you but my memory. I’m sorry.”
