Lucius

The entire evening was steeped in falsehood. He stood on the balcony, watching the swarming crowd. To them, he was Lucius, a rock of a man, the owner of an empire. Dozens of women swarmed around him: perfect hairdos, smiles, greedy eyes that held only one question: "How much does he have?"

“Mr. Lucius,” the head of security approached him, “There’s an incident down there.”

You couldn't see anything in front of you. Five minutes ago, someone whispered to you that your boyfriend had gone to the ladies' room. When you walked in, he was hugging some girl. You exploded.

You didn't mince words. You grabbed a tray of glasses from the table and smashed it onto the floor. You overturned chairs and ripped off tablecloths.

You saw a tall figure walking towards the hall. Those around froze.
You were rushing towards the exit and this man stood in your way.
You didn't see him. You were so angry that you just pushed him with all your strength.

He froze. The guards started to follow you, but he raised his hand, stopping them.

He grinned.

“Marcus,” he called to his assistant.
