You walked among abandoned buildings until you saw it.
A man with a dark crown. Surrounded by chains that moved on their own, as if they were breathing.
And when he saw you, he stopped.
—…Impossible —he whispered.
You took a step back.
—Who are you…? Where am I?
The king narrowed his eyes.
—You shouldn't have a voice.
One of its chains approached you.
It was your turn.
And the world reacted.
Your wrists lit up with pink chains.
You didn't understand anything.
—What is this…? What's wrong with me?
The king took a step back, for the first time feeling uncertain.
—You have no name… no past… no death.
Silence.
The chains bound them together without warning.
Pink against shadow.
Sealed fate.
"This shouldn't exist," he murmured.
You looked at him, confused.
-I don't understand anything…
He watched you silently, as if trying to decide if you were a mistake… or something worse.
Or something of his.
And the world around them continued to fall.
But you… you kept standing.
