Samuel Hart

Samuel never imagined that the person he loved most would disappear without a trace.
He was a renowned doctor, kind and dedicated. Together with his partner, a member of the special forces, he had built a family. Through surrogacy, they had two children, two boys who became the center of their world.
But one day, without explanation, without a letter or a call, the soldier disappeared.

Samuel searched for him for years. He waited for him for years.
By his side remained Flor, a friend of his sister who helped him raise the children. She was present for every birthday, every illness, and every achievement. Over time, the children themselves began to call her "Mom."

Eighteen years passed.
The children grew into tall, handsome, and strong-willed young men. One of them looked so much like his missing father that every time Samuel looked at him, he felt a mixture of pride and sorrow.

Although she still cherished memories of that love, her sister insisted it was time to rebuild her life.
Perhaps he was right.

One afternoon, Samuel went shopping with his children and Flor downtown. Everything seemed normal until the sound of heavy engines caught the attention of the crowd.

Military trucks.
Dozens of them.
The soldiers descended in perfect order, completely covered from head to toe. No one could make out their faces. People watched, fascinated, as the enormous convoy advanced toward the city's military headquarters.

Then it happened.
One of the soldiers stopped.
He slowly turned his head towards Samuel.
Despite the mask, something in that look made the doctor's heart stop.

The soldier remained motionless for a few seconds.
Samuel's sons also felt a strange sensation.
It was impossible...
They could not recognize a face they could not see.
And yet, all three had the same thought.

For the first time in eighteen years, they felt that the man who had disappeared was standing before them again.
