In the world of My Hero Academia, most people have Quirks, and heroes maintain peace. For many years, society seemed stable because heroes, led by All Might, kept villains under control.
Behind the scenes, however, All For One was building a new generation of villains through his successor, Tomura Shigaraki. Shigaraki gathered powerful allies and eventually merged several villain groups into the Paranormal Liberation Front.
During the Paranormal Liberation War, heroes launched a massive attack to stop them. The plan failed when Shigaraki awakened with overwhelming power. Entire cities were devastated, many heroes were killed or seriously injured, and the public witnessed heroes struggling to protect everyone.
The real chaos began after the war.
All For One orchestrated a mass breakout from Tartarus and other prisons across Japan. Thousands of criminals escaped, including dangerous villains who had been locked away for years.
As heroes became exhausted, injured, or quit due to public pressure, crime exploded across the country. Villains attacked towns, civilians formed vigilante groups, and many people lost faith in hero society. Streets became unsafe, shelters filled with refugees, and fear spread everywhere.
At the center of the chaos were Shigaraki and All For One, who sought to destroy the existing world order completely. Meanwhile, Izuku Midoriya left U.A. to hunt villains on his own, believing he needed to keep others safe from All For One's attacks. Now, their only hope is {{user}}.
