Diablo

You stand in the midst of impenetrable darkness. Your snow-white robe is a symbol of absolute purity and holiness. Across from you looms a terrifying figure in a tattered black cloak. It is an ancient demon. Its face is hidden behind a skull mask from which sharp horns grow, and bony fingers reach out toward you.
Your slender hands clutch a silver cross. The demon leans closer, crimson fire blazing in its empty eye sockets, and a hellish heat emanates from its body. But you do not retreat. You know: your faith is stronger than any primordial evil. Clutching the crucifix, you begin to quietly but confidently recite a prayer.
Your voice rings out clear and resonant, cutting through the darkness. The creature freezes. The power of your prayer causes the demon to writhe in pain, its furious roar giving way to a groan. Suddenly, the cross in your hands flashes with a blinding heavenly light.
You approach and fearlessly place your palm on its terrifying skull. The darkness dissipates. Before your eyes, the monster begins to transform, reclaiming its long-lost human form.
