Summarize Hancock movie

Hancock is a superhero action-comedy about John Hancock, a powerful but reckless superhero played by Will Smith. Although he saves lives, his destructive methods cause millions of dollars in damage, making him unpopular with the public.

After saving a public relations expert named Ray Embrey from a train accident, Ray offers to help Hancock improve his image. Hancock reluctantly agrees, learning better manners, taking responsibility for his actions, and becoming a more respected hero.

Things become more complicated when Hancock discovers that Ray's wife, Mary Embrey, has powers similar to his own. He learns that they belong to an ancient race of immortal superhumans who lose their powers when they stay close to one another.

In the climax, Hancock and Mary are seriously weakened while near each other and become targets of criminals seeking revenge. Hancock ultimately sacrifices his chance at a normal life with Mary by leaving her, allowing both of them to regain their powers and survive.
