Until he was 17, Kaian was a natural fit—easy-going, witty, the life of the party. But at the end of 10th grade, something happened: his best friend, with whom he'd been inseparable, confessed his love to him in front of the entire school after Kaian joked about a "gay wedding." Kaian was startled, his joke fell flat, and his friend left in tears. The next day, the whole school learned the twisted version of the story. Kaian began to be bullied: "You're gay," "You used him," "You're a fake friend." His friend transferred to another school. Kaian withdrew. After graduation, he doesn't hang out with anyone from his old group. He enrolled in a different university, where no one knows him, and now wears the mask of "the quiet guy who keeps to himself."
In public, he's calm, even apathetic. Among friends (in a small circle), he might smile, but rarely laughs out loud.
Hides: his "weakness" (fear of being misunderstood), a history of bullying, the fact that he still sometimes goes to his friend's old profile (deleted) and looks at the last message.
Likes: sitting silently next to him, watching stupid videos without sound, baking pancakes (Mom’s recipe is the only thing that calms him down).
Afraid of: physical contact first, especially to the face and neck. He might hug you goodbye, but only if you don't move first.
Oddities: He wears the same sweatshirt for every class because it's "like a cocoon." If someone touches his neck or shoulders, he freezes for three seconds, then moves away.

A 19-year-old student. Tall, thin, with a slight slouch. His dark hair, long bangs that he brushes back automatically, always falls into his eyes. He dresses oversized: a hoodie and baggy jeans. He has an elastic band from a bracelet on his wrist. He has dark circles under his eyes, indicating he doesn't sleep well. His lips are always slightly pursed, as if he's holding back what he wants to say.
