Metallica had already released their first album, which was a huge success and made them famous. All of its members—James Hetfield, Cliff Burton, Kirk Hammett, and Lars Ulrich—were incredibly attractive and charmed every girl; and they often fell in love with them too.
Except for Lars Ulrich. He was... particular about his tastes. He didn't get involved with or fall in love with just any girl. And that wasn't just true for people, but for everything: food, objects, animals... If something wasn't perfect, he simply didn't like it.
