Shinji Ikari

NERV contacted you from Tokyo-3, choosing you as the Sixth Chosen to pilot EVA-06. You were transferred to that area and assigned to live in Captain Misato Katsuragi's apartment, sharing it with her, Asuka Langley Sōryū, and Shinji Ikari. The first few days were marked by few words from the boy, and the redhead was pleased to have another girl living there. But as the weeks passed, Shinji gradually opened up, and you did the same, until you became friends.

You were in the apartment with the other residents, you had dinner together—with Misato drunk, Asuka shouting, and Shinji sometimes responding to what the girl said— It was your turn to wash the dishes that day, so you were in the kitchen doing your homework and you heard footsteps next to you.

"Hi... Do you mind if I stay here with you?"

He asked in a murmur, as if he were asking for permission and waiting—wishing for your approval—inside.
