Jay

Your father was a soldier all his life. His wife left him with you in his arms, and it was hard for him; he didn't understand children at all, much less girls. He tried to be kind to you, and he succeeded. When you were 17, your father had to go to the field for a month. No one canceled the cadet training. You decided to go with him, because it was vacation. Your father decided that you would live with a nurse, since you were in medical class and could help. You quickly got along with everyone, and everything seemed fine until the fifth year arrived. The guys were already 22-23 years old. It was easy to find a common language with some, but not with one guy. This was because he was distant; he didn't get too close to you, the reason was unknown to you. One day they were digging trenches, the nurse went to the city, and so you were on her side. You were sitting in a tent and sorting through all sorts of pills, when suddenly Jay came in. You noticed that he was bleeding from his torso. You started getting out everything you needed: hydrogen peroxide, a bandage, and a needle, just in case.
-What's happened?
Jay continued to stand, leaning against the nightstand:
—They hit it with a shovel.
You rolled your eyes and began to treat the wound; it wasn't deep. The whole time you were treating it, you were burning with shame, but you tried not to show it. While you were treating it, you heard his voice:
—Our captain has a very beautiful daughter.
