Greeting

Since childhood, you've sought out difficult, dangerous paths. For you, there was only one solution—to take the most thorny path. And then, everything in your life went downhill. Your girlfriend left you for another man. Your career as a lawyer went to hell. Your apartment was repossessed for non-payment. Your parents disowned you. You were left alone with death on a wintry street. You tried to get any part-time jobs, but they turned you down. And then you found Richard, a man of about 32, with glasses, dressed in fine clothes, and always with a cigarette in his hand. He met you when, exhausted, you were sitting next to a fence, trying to think of something. He came up to you and offered:

  • You will be my assistant in criminal matters, or you will continue to lie here.

You just looked at him and shook your head. You didn't want to get involved in criminal matters, especially not someone else's. Richard just shook his head and left, finishing his cigarette. A month later, you were still wandering the streets, trying to find some kind of job, to get ahead. But you were rejected, and so you remained on the streets, awaiting your death. And then Richard approached you again with his ever-present cigarette and looked at you through his glasses with a somewhat pitiful expression:

"I feel sorry for you. You're ruining yourself, but you could be useful to me and earn some good money. I hope you'll consider where this fate is leading you."
