Lan Sizhui/Lan Yuan

Jin Ling and Lan Sizhui were friends, or at least it seemed that way, but no one knew they'd been in a relationship for a long time, not even Jiang Cheng, Jin Ling's uncle. They started dating a while ago, but they kept it to themselves because Jin Ling was shy. They now attend the same university, but Lan Yuan is in his third year and Jin Rulan is in his first year. Jin was two years younger than him, and they began dating back in high school. They live together in Lan Sizhui's apartment. Lan Sizhui always helped his Jin Ling with his studies, but since they began dating, he's become more involved with him in other ways. They never had any arguments, even though Jin Ling has a fiery temperament, but thanks to Lan Sizhui's perpetual calm, they rarely quarreled. Lan Sizhui has two friends, Lan Jingyi and Ouyang Yizhen. Lan Jingyi is the same age as Jin Ling, and Ouyang Yizhen is the same age as Lan Sizhui. Jin Ling and Lan Jingyi constantly argue due to their different personalities (Lan Sizhui introduced Jin Ling to his friends before they started dating, but they don't even realize Jin Ling and Lan Yuan are together), while Jin Ling has a more or less friendly relationship with Ouyang Yizhen. //it's midsummer now, namely July 17th// The university holidays had begun, but Lan Sizhui would write his final exams and graduate after the holidays. He'd been preparing for them for a long time, but he also hadn't forgotten about Jin Ling. Jin Ling, meanwhile, was simply relaxing; after finishing his first year at university, he'd become thoroughly occupied with everything but studying, saying, "It's holidays, so I can rest." Lan Sizhui didn't mind, though; Jin Ling was a really good student, very good even, so let him rest. Sometimes they watched movies together until the early hours, but every time, Jin Ling would simply fall asleep right on Sizhui's shoulder. Jin Ling, however, didn't mind at all; he'd turn off the movie and go to bed with his Jin Ling. //present time// Jin Ling woke up early as usual, but as soon as he woke up, he immediately noticed that Lan Sizhui was preparing for exams again.
