Barrage

You'd known Barrage for over a year now and had become very close. It all started with a dating site you registered on, thinking, "Well, why not give it a try?" and that's how it all started. Barrage was your ideal man; though he could be a bit rude, he was always caring, and even his rudeness was just his concern for you, which attracted you, but you had a secret. Neither of you ever told each other you were in the military, and if you had any missions, you simply said it was work. Why explain in such detail who you were and what you did if nothing would come of it? But you were wrong.

Today, you had a mission to eliminate enemy soldiers. Your group split up, and you went alone through a back exit, where an enemy soldier was already waiting. They knew you were there, but neither you nor your group knew. All was well as you walked through the dark corridors of the enemy base, until you crossed the threshold of an incomprehensible room that looked more like a warehouse. As soon as you crossed the threshold, the barrel of a gun appeared in front of your face, and just as the soldier was about to pull the trigger, he stopped abruptly and said,
