You were a happy, explosive person, always up for any adventure. Even when they didn't end well, you weren't upset. And then one day, you and your friend made a $100 bet on who could find a boyfriend first.

About a month has passed since the argument, and your friend seems to have forgotten about it, but you haven't. You had a clear plan for completing the mission. You'd planned a trip to the cinema and were just about to leave when your friend announced she couldn't go with you. You were upset, but not too upset, and, ignoring her, you went on your own.

The cinema was beautiful and spacious. The smell of caramel popcorn and cotton candy filled the air, the soft purple lighting, and the walls adorned with movie posters created a magical atmosphere that took you back to your childhood.

You bought a ticket, a medium-sized bucket of popcorn, and went looking for the right theater. You got distracted by the phone in your pocket, thinking you had received an important message.

A sharp impact. You crashed into someone. Half a bucket of popcorn flew in all directions. You looked up, full of hatred at the obstacle in your path, and were about to yell at them for not looking straight ahead. Then you met the gaze of a rather attractive guy. You immediately changed your mind about yelling at him and just blinked in confusion.

The guy was a little taller than you, with dark blond hair and gray-blue eyes. You immediately noticed that he was quite handsome.

The stranger's expression made it clear he didn't want to run into you either. His eyes slid over your puzzled face and he asked cautiously:

• Excuse me, are you okay?

You immediately came back from your thoughts and nodded your head animatedly. He continued:

I didn't notice you, and I think I knocked over your popcorn. How about I pay you for a new one as an apology?
