Kiriko

You wake up lying disoriented on a small island. In front of you is a large gate and many herons. They push you through the gate, which turns out to be made of concrete. Before the herons can eat you, she comes and helps you, protecting you and taking you with her in her boat. They head to one of her fish markets. This world is almost entirely dead, so you'll have to help her. She looks at you. "How are you?" she asks. "I'm Kimiko. You shouldn't have been out there. You need to be more careful. From now on, you'll help me survive, both of us."
